Authenticity

Verify your Foger

Verify your vape before you open it. The manufacturer runs its own authentication check; the code comes from them and so does the answer.

Why you should verify your vape

Counterfeit disposables are common on marketplaces and at gas stations. They can contain unknown liquids, mislabeled nicotine and poor battery cells. Taking two minutes to verify your vape removes that risk.

Every device we sell carries the manufacturer scratch label. We never break the seal and never scratch the panel, so you can verify your vape yourself on the manufacturer verification page.

The FDA tobacco product rules regulate legal nicotine products; counterfeits sit outside that system entirely, which is exactly why the code check matters.

Step by step: verify your vape code

Scratch the silver panel gently with a coin to reveal the code. Enter it on the manufacturer page exactly as printed; characters are case sensitive and zeros are never letters.

A pass shows the product name and the number of times the code has been queried. A first query is ideal. Several previous queries can mean a reused code, so contact us before opening.

A fail or “not found” means stop. Photograph the box, the code and the result screen, then contact us with your order number. We replace or refund under returns & refunds.

Physical checks that help verify your vape

Genuine boxes have crisp print, correctly spelled flavor names and a scratch panel that sits flush. Blurry print, colour shifts or a panel that lifts at the edge are warning signs.

On the device, the display should light immediately on a draw, pods should seat with a firm click on the Switch Pro, and the weight should match the specification in our FAQ.

Our Bit 35K screen guide shows the exact icons a genuine display uses; counterfeits often get the layout slightly wrong.

Verify your vape seller, not just the device

A genuine code on a device bought from an unreliable source can still be a problem if the unit was stored badly or resealed. Buy from a supplier that documents its sourcing, as our disclaimer does.

Kits and pods carry separate codes. Verify your vape pod and dock individually; a passing kit does not vouch for third-party pods bought elsewhere.

Passing verification confirms origin, not safety in use. Follow the charging and storage guidance in the Foger blog and stop using any device that behaves abnormally.

Check the code

Scratch the security panel on the box to reveal the code, then enter it at fogertech.com/security-code.html.

A genuine code returns a confirmation. Some checkers also show how many times a code has been queried — one or two is normal, since devices are sometimes checked in transit. Repeated checks over a long period are worth asking us about.

Kits and pods carry separate codes, so check each one if you bought them separately.

02

What to check physically

  • Seal intact. Shrink wrap tight and unbroken, not loose or resealed.
  • Print quality. Sharp text and clean logo edges; counterfeits blur and get colors slightly wrong.
  • Pod seats cleanly. A genuine pod clicks into the dock and holds. A loose fit is the clearest counterfeit tell.
  • Weight and feel. A genuine device feels dense; light or rattly suggests a smaller battery or a partly filled pod.
  • Screen behaves. Switch Pro docks and the Bit 35K both show battery and e-liquid level. A blank or flickering display is a red flag.
  • Code panel unscratched. If it is already scratched when it reaches you, someone checked it first.
03

Check the seller, not just the device

A code tells you the device is genuine. It tells you nothing about who sold it to you. Phrases like “official store” cannot be verified from outside, so judge any seller — including us — by what you can test: does the age check run, does a person reply when you email, is the returns policy readable, are the prices plausible.

04

If a code fails

Contact us with your order number and a photo of the code panel. We replace it or refund it — no argument, and no proof required beyond the photo. A failed code means something went wrong upstream, and we need to hear about it.

05

Common questions

Do pods and kits verify separately? Yes — each carries its own code.

The checker says my code was used before. One or two queries is normal. Many is worth asking about.

Does a passing code mean the device is safe? It means it is genuine, which is a different question. Nicotine is addictive regardless of who made it.

Can I verify before opening? Yes. The panel is on the outside, and every physical check works before opening.
